Welcome to the AATSP Texas Brazos Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. The AATSP promotes the study and teaching of the Spanish and Portuguese languages and their corresponding Hispanic, Luso-Brazilian, and other related literatures and cultures at all levels of education.
The Texas Brazos Chapter’s home is Houston and its surrounding areas, getting its name from the Brazos river.
The purpose of the AATSP Texas Brazos Chapter is to promote friendship and professional growth among teachers of Spanish and Portuguese at all levels of education, to inform about and support programs in the teaching and learning of these languages, to facilitate and sponsor cultural and linguistic opportunities to our members, and to increase interest in the study of Spanish and Portuguese in the area.
